Randolf Jorberg, visited South Africa for the first time in 2007, fell in love with the country and decided to immigrate to Cape Town in 2012 and open the first Beerhouse in Long Street in 2013, where many more beer varieties than just the traditional German beers are on offer. Now his next Beerhouse is opening in Tygervalley on the 25 October 2019.
The Beerhouse in Tygervalley offers a contemporary beer hall with 25 beers on tap and legendary 99 different local and international beers in bottles. While it is not strictly a German Beerhouse, it offers a great variety of traditional German beers amongst many others.
Their emphasis is the curation of beers and a service standard that sets the trend in the hospitality industry. Their beer is served by knowledgeable and passionate staff and their food is crafted by an internationally experienced kitchen team specifically to compliment the large beer variety.
The Beerhouse also strives to incubate the ideals of craft beer and supports local micro-breweries.
